FUDAN University broke into top 50 of the QS World University Rankings for the first time.
The new rankings were released today.
Chinese mainland now has three universities in the global top 50 with Tsinghua University climbing one place up to 24 while Peking University jumped two places to 39.
Fudan is ranked 43rd Von Miller Broncos Jersey , up eight places from last year. Shanghai Jiao Tong University is 61st from 70th last year.
Three of Hong Kong’s seven featured institutions are listed in the top 50 — the University of Hong Kong (27), the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (36) and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (44).
Published annually, the QS World University Rankings provides an index of the world’s leading higher education institutions. The rankings are based on assessment on university performance across four areas: research, teaching, employability and internationalization.
It features 916 universities, 25 more than last year, in 81 countries and areas.
Holding onto the top spot for the fifth consecutive year, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) was followed by Stanford University, with Harvard University dropping to third.

BERLIN, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- German automotive firm Daimler tried to secretly loan a "StreetScooter" electric vehicle from Deutsche Post through a fake company for test purposes at its Stuttgart headquarters in April, the newspaper Spiegel reported Monday.
The German postal service Deutsche Post AG recently attracted widespread media interest for unveiling the "StreetScooter" as an electric alternative to conventional delivery vans. Deutsche Post is offering the vehicle for sale as well as using it for its own purposes.
The development also appears to have drawn the attention of Mercedes-Benz owner and leading truck and van manufacturer Daimler which acquired one of the brand new vehicles under a fake company name.
When Deutsche Post sought to investigate the customer's identity, however, it discovered the fraud and managed to track the borrowed vehicle via GPS to Daimler's manufacturing center in Stuttgart.
Confronted with the claims, Daimler told Spiegel that it was not uncommon in the automotive industry to rent vehicles through third parties for test purposes. It remained unclear on Monday whether Deutsche Post intended to file charges in the case.
Daimler announced earlier in May that it would produce electric versions of its Vito and Sprinter vans for the courier service Hermes.

SUVA, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- Fijian nationals holding ordinary or official passports will no longer require a visa to enter Brazil following an agreement signed between the two countries.
Fiji's Ambassador to Brazil Cama Tuiloma signed the Visa Exemption Agreement on behalf of the Fijian government with Brazilian Minister for Foreign Affairs Aloysio Nunes Ferreira.
Acting permanent secretary of Fiji's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yogesh Karan, commended this new development on Sunday and highlighted the opportunities that a visa exemption agreement brings.
"Brazil and Latin America have enormous potential - as a destination for Fijians to visit and conduct business in. This is a milestone achievement for government because it allows Fijians to enter Brazil for these reasons without having to apply for a visa," Karan said.
"This development also allows easy travel to both countries by Fijians and Brazilians - boosting tourism and people-to-people exchanges and in the process, growing our bilateral relations," Karan added.
